Presently engaged in private practice limited to Parental Kidnaping Recovery

Friend of the Court, 2Oth Judicial Circuit, Ottawa County, Michigan, June, 1974 to June, 2000. Served as director of 27–person office engaged in custody investigation and enforcement, visitation (parenting time) investigation and enforcement, and child support investigation and enforcement. Also served as attorney for the office, domestic relations mediator and referee. Retired after 26 years, as the senior Friend of the Court in Michigan.

Other Activities and Affiliations

Peace Corps Volunteer, Sierra Leone, West Africa education project,
June, 1965 to August, 1967.

Has served as faculty member for Michigan Judicial Institute, education arm of Michigan Supreme Court, for training of Friend of the Court Investigators.

Member of the Governor's Task Force for Children's Justice of the State of Michigan, on appointment of Michigan Governor John Engler, 1993–1999.

Member, Michigan Bar Association and Family Law Section of the Michigan Bar,
1975 to date.

Member of Friend of the Court Association of Michigan, three times Regional Director of the Association, and two–time member of its Executive Board (as Treasurer)  1974–2000.
